Yachats Watercolor

"Table Rock"
This is a watercolor I brought to the Columbia Arts Guild March meeting. I painted it in layers over several days.  My Uncle used to like to fish there. We often go to Yachats for vacation and I have seen the tide out so far you can almost walk around the end. I have also seen up over the top of the table many times.

Ron's Woodwork

Ron's Post Office Box Bank

These were just small projects he made. The corners are actually two different shades of dark wood and it doesn't show up well on this one.  Others had more contrast in the wood color so you see three colors at the corners better. The outline strip of color is about one sixteenth of an inch wide.  At the bottom on the right I just barely pushed out the hidden drawer where the key goes. Some of the banks he made were the type that had a combination dial and he etched the numbers inside that hidden drawer area.
Ron has made lots of other projects. I'll have to get photos and share them in my blog.
