I love doing this new style I am experimenting with. I have used a palette knife and paints direct from the tube in this painting. The subject is from the Portland Plein Air & Studio Painters winter project but the interpretation is all mine.

Wow, Maeona, this is great. I love the look you've achieved wit the palette knife. I can see why that would be fun. Lovely colors also.
such vibrant colors - I have only tried water colors so far - this brilliant blue must be oil or acrylic.
